Nearly 100 papers from more than 40 countries were presented at the International Smartnets 2023 Conference (https://smartnets.ieee.tn) held at Yeditepe University between July 25-27. Faculty Member Prof. Dr. B. Tevfik Akgün's paper "Portable AI-Powered Spice Recognition System Using an eNose Based on Metal Oxide Gas Sensors" prepared with Montaser Ramadan, Mohammad Alkhedher and Sina Alp was one of the 11 papers in the "Best Papers" category.
