One of Turkey's largest private universities, Yeditepe University bid farewell to its 3464 graduates, equipped with the knowledge and technology of our age, in graduation ceremonies held between 29 June – 7 July 2018. The Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Commerce took place on July 5, 2018, with the participation of the families of our graduates, at the lush festival area of the Yeditepe University Campus.
The ceremony, which started with the opening speeches delivered by Prof. Dr. Ömer Gökay (Dean of the Faculty of Commerce), Assist. Prof. Dr. Begüm Tanyer (Associate Head of the Department of International Business and Trade), and valedictorian Ebru Yurdakul (who graduated from the Faculty of Commerce with the highest CGPA in the 2017–2018 academic year), continued with the procession of graduates who received their diplomas from the academic staff. Following the farewell speech delivered by Prof. Dr. Sedefhan Oğuz, the graduates threw their caps in the air.
The ceremony in which students with honor distinctions for the 2017–2018 academic year were given their plaques was held on the evening of July 7, 2018. Yeditepe University Founder and Honorary President Bedrettin Dalan, Yeditepe University Board of Trustees Chairperson Yusuf Akgün, members of the Board of Trustees, Yeditepe University Rector Prof. Dr. Canan Aykut Bingöl, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ahmet Aydın, Prof. Dr. Yeşim Ekinci and Prof. Dr. İpek Karaaslan, as well as Faculty Deans and Department Heads, participated in the ceremony.
