Dear Students,
During the 2021–2022 Academic Year, the following education methods will be applied:
- A hybrid education model, consisting of the face-to-face (in classrooms) and online (through the YULearn platform) methods, has been selected for the 2021–2022 Academic Year.
- The enclosed areas inside our campus (classrooms, auditoriums, halls, etc.) have been evaluated according to the social distancing rules and regulations of the COVID-19 pandemic and the necessary planning has been made to meet the requirements of both the face-to-face and online education methods.
- Our campus will be available for our students who must attend their courses with the face-to-face method (in classrooms) every day between 09:00 – 22:00 (including the weekends).
- Our students will attend their courses with both methods (face-to-face and online) of the hybrid education model during the 2021–2022 Academic Year, the planning of which will be centrally conducted by the Rectorate for all Faculties of Yeditepe University.
- The YULearn platform can be accessed through the URL address yulearn.yeditepe.edu.tr. For questions, assistance and feedback regarding the YULearn platform, our students and academic staff may contact us through the e-mail address yulearndestek@yeditepe.edu.tr.
- The primary measurements and evaluations regarding student performance (midterm exams, final exams, etc.) will be made face-to-face, in classrooms.
- For all applied courses (laboratories, applications, projects, workshops, student assistance education, etc.) the face-to-face method will be used.
- For theoretical courses, students will be divided into two groups, according to the last digit (an odd number or even number) of their student identification numbers. The following table indicates the weeks during which the students should attend a theoretical course with either the face-to-face method or online method, according to the last digit of their student ID numbers:

- The courses of our English Preparatory Programs will be scheduled as either face-to-face (in classrooms) or online, depending on the day of the week (the method that was applied during the 2020 Fall Term will remain valid during the 2021 Fall Term).
